Who we are 📌

Mladí pro Krnov is an association of active young people who believe that even in smaller towns, a high-quality, diverse and meaningful public life can be created. Our vision is Krnov as a city where everyone can live well, whether young people, families, seniors or people on the margins of society.

We cooperate with the city of Krnov, local schools and organizations. We organize events, workshops, public discussions, festivals and educational programs. Our activities focus not only on young people, but also on intergenerational cooperation and support for civic engagement. We want to create safe, inclusive and inspiring spaces for meeting, sharing and co-creation.

Creative intergenerational workshops

Young people and seniors create and share their stories together, getting to know each other.

Financial and Media Literacy Program

We focus on practical topics such as budgeting, internet safety, critical thinking, and recognizing misinformation.

Youth club

We are working to create a pleasant space where young people can meet, create, relax, or chat with peers and professionals.

Educational lectures and seminars

We are interested in mental health, internet safety, sexuality, and risk behavior prevention. We collaborate with experts who help us spread important topics in an understandable way.

Events for the public

We organize community flea markets, local culture festivals and sporting events for all generations. We want people in Krnov to meet and feel part of the community.

Projects to promote equality and diversity

We also address the topics of gender, inclusion, and equality.
